Everything we do.
In plain English.

International tax is all we do. If your life crosses a border, your situation probably lives on this page. If you are not sure which ones apply to you, the quiz will tell you in under a minute.

Our Services

What We Do

U.S. expat tax returns

You live abroad, you still file. We prepare your federal return with every exclusion and credit your situation allows, and we explain it before anything is filed.

FBAR and foreign accounts

If your foreign accounts total more than $10,000 at any point in the year, a separate report is required. Straightforward once you know it exists. We handle it with your return or on its own.

Foreign income (FEIE and FTC)

Most expats qualify for the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, the Foreign Tax Credit, or both. Choosing correctly can save thousands, and the choice has multi-year consequences. This is the heart of what we do.

Missed or late filings

Years of unfiled returns happen to good people, usually because nobody told them the rules. The IRS has a formal path for exactly this. If you come forward before they contact you, catching up is far more manageable than you fear.

IRS problems and notices

A letter from the IRS is not an emergency, but it is a deadline. We read it, translate it, and respond correctly.

Multi-country situations

Income in two or three countries, treaty questions, moving mid-year. Complexity is not a problem, it is just information.

ITIN applications

Renee is an IRS Certified Acceptance Agent, which means passport certification without mailing your passport anywhere.

Tax advisory

A planned conversation before a big decision: moving abroad, selling property, taking a foreign job, surrendering a green card. One hour now saves years later.

Borderless Business (Start a U.S. Business)

Formation plus the tax side, built for Americans starting something new in a new place. From $750.

Borderless Bookkeeping

Your books kept current all year on a monthly subscription.
