Our founder spent twenty years in U.S. tax practice. But something shifted when her daughters began living abroad permanently: Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Israel, France, and a long list of places she has genuinely lost track of.
She started seeing the gap between what Americans living internationally actually needed and what most tax professionals could actually deliver. Most had never filed a 2555. Most had never explained an FBAR to a client in Bangkok at 11pm. Most treated international life as a complication rather than a context.
So she built TaxJet around that gap.
